Members of the College Music Society’s Career Development and Entrepreneurship Committee are pleased to organize and offer mentorship sessions to CMS members attending the annual conference in Rochester. Sessions are 45-minutes in length and designed to help members navigate their path at all stages of their career, both in and out of academia.
Below you will find a list of mentors and a toggle arrow that lists their areas of mentorship expertise. When you find a mentor with whom you would like to meet, simply click on the link listed below their name and sign up for a time that works in your schedule.
Mentorship sessions are on a first-come, first-served basis and each mentor has a unique calendar that lists their availability during the conference. If a mentor is already booked, feel free to schedule a time with another individual.
When you sign up for a session you will be notified in your confirmation email of where to meet your mentor. Your mentor will also receive your contact information and will likely reach out to you directly in advance of your session.
The deadline to sign up for a session is October 1st.
NOTE: The mentors listed below have carefully selected the dates and times that they are available. Please be 100% certain that you are able to commit to a session before signing up. Canceling or not showing up to a session prevents other members from being able to sign up.
